Course Objectives
The purpose of this course is to provide students with opportunities to expand their understanding of the pharmaceutical sciences through practice in an industry setting. The student will work either part time or full time under the supervision of an industry sponsor who will provide a written evaluation of the student's performance in the following learning objectives: 1. To gain hands-on experience with techniques essential for the practice of the pharmaceutical sciences. 2. To become part of a science-based drug development team. 3. To develop written and oral communication skills aimed at disseminating information related to the pharmaceutical sciences.
