Course Objectives
The objective of this course is to improve students’ oral and listening comprehension skills in Quechua through a series of interactive activities between the instructor and students and between the students and their peers. Students will learn to develop arguments in Quechua using full sentences and producing short paragraphs orally, as well as to strengthen their understanding of selected grammatical functions. In order to promote discussion and oral argumentation, students will be familiarized with a variety of cultural products, such as collections of short stories, periodical press articles, chronicles, interviews, short films, music, and social media.
