Course Description

Provides students with an understanding of the history, importance, technology, and strategic uses of social media as a part of marketing strategy. Students will learn how to apply various social media tools and platforms and will understand how to develop and evaluate social media marketing strategies.

Upon completion of this course, students will: Understand current trends and developments in social media. Know how social media can be used as part of a marketing strategy. Be familiar with various social media tools and platforms. Be able to develop a social media strategy. Be able to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of social media strategies.
