Course Objectives
In this course, students will: 1) Understand and apply terminology associated with classifying and identifying horticultural plants; 2) Learn scientific nomenclature and horticulture industry-specific terminology used to name and group plants; 3) Utilize plant identification keys to identify horticultural plants; and 4) Appreciate the diversity and complexity of the world of horticulture plants.
