Gives students an overview of the basic mechanisms of disease in Veterinary Medicine.
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students:
In addition to taking the course exams, graduate students will be required to write a review of a scientific paper using
guidelines outlined in the syllabus.

Course Objectives
Understand and describe the pathogenesis of basic veterinary diseases. Describe lesions using appropriate medical terminology. Use problem-solving skills to determine how clinical signs are related to disease processes.
