Course Objectives

The objectives of this course will necessarily vary, depending on the specific topic, but in general it is intended to help students further develop practical language skills at the advanced level and to acquire some in-depth knowledge of a particular aspect of Russian literature, culture or linguistics. Specific course requirements and the means of evaluating students' performance will be determined by the instructor, but will include a reasonable number of assignments or quizzes throughout the course of the semester and a final exam or a project of comparable scope.
