The development of practical poultry breeding programs. The mode of inheritance and relative heritability of various characteristics of economic importance and criteria for effective selection toward their improvement.
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students:
Graduate students are required to write a term paper on some aspect of genetics of the fowl.
