Course Objectives
The aim of the seminar is to help students acquire an in-depth historical and cultural appreciation of a literary topic. The seminar will be organized so as to allow discussion of a particular cultural, literary and/or historical issue.
Topical Outline
An in-depth analysis of a specific topic in narrative fiction of the Spanish-speaking world, including the US, with special emphasis on theoretical frameworks and their social and cultural contexts. The description of the course will vary depending on the topic being offered.
