Student Learning Outcomes
Students will understand the main idea and some pieces of information in various time frames within spoken or written texts in German.
Students will participate in spontaneous spoken or written conversations in German on familiar topics, using connected sentences to ask and answer a variety of questions.
Students will communicate information, make presentations, and express your thoughts about familiar topics, using a few short paragraphs, often across various time frames, in spoken and written German.
Students will identify products and practices related to everyday life and personal interests in German-speaking cultures and compare these to help you understand cultural perspectives.
Students will interact with others in and from German-speaking cultures at a functional level in many familiar situations at school, work, and play, and use appropriate learned behaviors.
