Course Description
An in-depth self-examination of skills, personality, attitudes, and behaviors to increase self-awareness of leadership competencies. Students will also examine theories of leadership to develop insights for their personalized leadership development. Activities include individual assessments, a ropes course, a personal leadership development plan, and learning journal.

Student Learning Outcomes
- Students will analyze personal leadership strengths and areas for growth through self-assessments, developmental exercises, and reflective journaling.
- Students will demonstrate effective communication skills by engaging in group-led case discussions, and articulating leadership insights through written reflections.
- Students will develop a comprehensive Personal Leadership Development Plan (PDLP) that integrates insights from assessments, coursework, and experiential learning to guide future leadership practice.
- Students will collaborate effectively in teams by taking on shared leadership responsibilities during simulations, class activities, and discussions, and contributing to group deliverables.
