Course Objectives

To present the M.S. or Ph.D. final research results and conclusions in a formal seminar open to the EHS department, the student's advisory committee and the general public. The seminar should be given prior to the student's thesis or dissertation defense and final examination.


Topical Outline

The course syllabus is a general plan for the course; deviations announced to the class by the instructor may be necessary. 1. Prepare a 40-45 minute formal seminar of the final research results and conclusions. 2. Present the seminar in a public forum, to include members of the EHS department, the student's advisory committee and the general public.
