Course Description
Univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyses of non-experimental quantitative evidence. Topics include frequency distributions, central tendency and dispersion, cross tabulation, mean difference analyses, statistical inference, regression, and the use of microcomputers and statistical software to conduct quantitative data analysis.

Course Objectives
The goal of this course is to introduce you to applied statistics so that you will be able to perform basic analyses. The course is also designed to prepare you for more advanced statistical courses, such as Analysis and Interpretation of Sociological Data II.
