Course Objectives
Course Objectives CHEM 1110L A. Understand how to collect, analyze, and assimilate experimental laboratory data using traditional wet chemical techniques B. Understand how to collect, analyze, and assimilate experimental laboratory data using electronic analytical devices such as pH meters, thermistors, spectrometers, and colorimeters C. Use spreadsheet software to graph and analyze electronically accumulated data D. Use e-mail and web resources to evaluate collected data E. Write at least two formal lab procedures F. Write at least two formal lab reports G. Perform a self-directed expeiment by developing a procedure, carrying that procedure, analyzing the resulting data, and writting a formal report.
