Course Description
The Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA) Violin Books 6, 7, and 8 courses. It is a continuation of Suzuki Pedagogy I, II, and III and will provide students with further skills and resources needed to teach violin students using the Suzuki Method at the Books 6 through 8 levels.
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students:
Graduate students will be expected to include more depth and length in their assignments and will be required to do a longer, more involved final project.

Course Objectives
Students taking the course will: • Be conversant with the philosophical ideas presented in Dr. Suzuki’s Nurtured by Love • Have demonstrable knowledge of the repertoire and teaching points in the Suzuki Violin Units 6 - 8 repertoire books • Develop strategies for working with students at the book 6-8 level in group classes
