Provides an overview of speech disorders encompassing developmental speech sound disorders, acquired motor speech disorders, fluency disorders, and voice and resonance disorders. Students will examine the etiopathologies, clinical presentations, and sociocultural factors underlying these disorders and analyze evidence-based methods of prevention, assessment, and treatment of speech disorders across the lifespan.
