A seminar course in entrepreneurship designed for freshman students enrolled in the Launch Pad Living Learning Community or students with a keen interest in starting their own business. Students will work in groups to develop a business idea and will explore the requirements for launching a successful business.

Students will identify and clearly articulate customer problems and potential value propositions using evidence gathered from readings, class activities, and early customer discovery interviews, creating novel solutions to existing problems suffered by potential customers.
Students will evaluate the feasibility of a new venture idea by analyzing customer insights, market assumptions, and basic entrepreneurial concepts introduced in class.
Students will communicate entrepreneurial thinking through written reflections and group presentations that connect outside events, course concepts, and personal observations.
