Students will apply material learned to writing about current trends, issues, and research related to contemporary organizational patterns, models, and structures; professional standards; personnel practices; and innovations in program and service delivery. Students will consider their own career trajectories and understand the role of senior student affairs officers and leaders.

Non-Traditional Format
This course will be taught 95% or more online. Students may complete the credit hours all at once OR first year SAL students can opt to complete one credit hour, and then complete the remaining two credit hours as 2nd year SAL students. This gives the working students maximum flexibility for registration and completion of the course and its modules.
