Pathophysiology explains the functional and biochemical changes of cells, tissues, and organs that are associated with or a result of disease or injury. Pathophysiology focuses on the underlying mechanism and causation of diseases, clinical signs and symptoms, disease prevention, and therapeutic management of diseases in the human body.
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students: Graduate students will be required to complete a journal club assignment.
