Student Learning Outcomes
- Students will review relevant best practices/strategies for writing rooted in Writing Studies scholarship.
- Students will engage in a series of writing activities facilitated by the instructor.
- Students will spend at least three hours each week on writing project.
- Students will complete at least one writing artifact taken through multiple rounds of revision.
- Students will learn to develop, support, and express ideas in written form using language with clarity and precision.
- Students will learn to tailor communication strategy, style, and convention appropriately for various audiences and/or contexts.
- Students will learn to understand their own writing habits and develop strategies for effective and sustainable writing practice.
