Foundations of Artificial Intelligence in Business


Course Description

Course introduces artificial intelligence (AI) as a human endeavor and provides both conceptional and technical groundwork for subsequent courses. The course has a shared focus on AI business cases, AI development and use, ethical considerations of AI and AI data analysis.

  • Students will be able to explain the history and objectives of the AI and its subfields.
  • Students will be able to identify current uses of AI technologies in business and discuss their benefits and potential risks.
  • Students will be able to analyze business cases of AI use for financial, ethical and competitive purposes.
  • Students will be able to use common AI-based tools effectively, including writing or modifying code to control them.
