Students learn how to communicate research results orally in an effective manner.
Students who successfully complete the course should be able to discuss and critically analyze the results of their original research as well as prepare an oral presentation of their work.
Students will learn to assimilate information through a combination of approaches that include discussions with the instructor, practice in front of a group of peers, and observation of experienced presenters in a lab meeting setting.
