By the end of this course, students should be able to identify, understand, and describe the theoretical and practical aspects of social psychology from a historical and modern perspective.
By the end of this course, students should be able to understand how human behavior, cognitive thoughts and beliefs, and societal environment influence people as a whole (individual or group).
By the end of this course, students should be able to understand the research methods utilized in social psychology and the various implications these tools have towards the individual and society.
By the end of this course, students should be able to identify and evaluate the complicated relationship science has with pop culture, specifically from a social cognitive perspective.
By the end of this course, students should be able to critically evaluate research findings in empirical journal articles and popular press outlets.
By the end of this course, students should be able to apply relevant theories and constructs to real-life situations.
