Course Objectives
Good measurement is essential for making decisions in both research and practice within the field of psychology. The goals of this course are to: 1. Make the student aware of the range, scope, value and limitations of psychological tests 2. Be able to apply principles of measurement used in test and questionnaire construction 3. Engage in laboratory experience to enable application of concepts covered in the course 4. Be able to critically evaluate information about a published test
