Students will attend a series of public lectures from leading artists and scholars, preparing for and reflecting upon experiences through discussion and written responses.

  • Week 1 - Course Introduction
  • Weeks 2-12 - Visiting Artist & Scholar Lectures - pre-lecture preparation, lecture attendance, and immediate reflection.
  • Weeks 13-15 - Integration and Reflection - Connecting lecture content to personal artistic practice and the broader role of art in society.
