  • By the end of this course, students will understand the links between physiology and psychology.
  • By the end of this course, students will understand how health psychology, as a multidisciplinary field, operates both within and ancillary to the formal medical system.
  • By the end of this course, students will understand that the emphasis formerly placed on psychological processes and personality factors extends beyond the individual to include situational factors.
  • By the end of this course, students will understand that the interface between psychology and physical health is complicated and most productively approached from several different perspectives.
  • By the end of this course, students will understand how to write papers that comply with American Psychological Association requirements.
