  • Within a particular specialty topic area in Psychology, students will evaluate empirical findings and various theoretical perspectives as they gain an advanced understanding of that topic area.
  • Within a particular specialty topic area in Psychology, students will identify, evaluate, and/or design high-quality research proposals that represent the current cutting edge of research in that content area.
  • Within a particular specialty topic area in Psychology, students will identify and evaluate ways to reduce bias and inequity in the conduct or interpretation of research.
  • Within a particular specialty topic area in Psychology, students will construct clear and concise arguments from evidence-based psychological concepts and theories.
  • As part of professional development discussions within this course, students will use appropriate career resources to evaluate academic and career options, and develop a professional development plan for their next steps after graduation.
