Course Description
Focuses on four arenas or levels of management which must be integrated in the pursuit of public-sector excellence. These arenas involve individuals, pairs of individuals, supervisor/subordinates, and small groups. Institutional, behavioral, and psychological factors will be emphasized.

Course Objectives
This course introduces students to the major topics, issues, and literature of organization behavior. The major emphasis is on the behavior of individuals and groups in organizations. The course considers applications to organizations and management in the public and nonprofit sectors of the economy. From the course, student will learn the serious organizational problems of public and nonprofit agencies and approaches to correct these problems.
