Course Objectives
This course is designed for extensive research and discussion in major historical movements in photography including comparative studies of contemporary trends and criticism. Readings of historical and contemporary theory will accompany slide lectures and gallery visits to develop discussion in these areas. Students will complete individual research projects giving in class presentations and written essays.
