Student learning Outcomes
- By completing three metal fabrication projects, students will apply various cutting, shaping, and assembly techniques in steel, as demonstrated through finished sculptures and studio critiques.
- Through research and discussion of historical and contemporary metal sculpture, students will analyze how context, technique, and aesthetic choices influence sculptural meaning, as demonstrated in written reflections and project presentations.
- By developing and iterating personal sculptural concepts, students will synthesize technical skills with individual aesthetic vision, as demonstrated through project development and critique feedback.
- Through participation in group critiques, students will evaluate their own work and that of peers, articulating constructive feedback and revising their projects accordingly, as demonstrated in verbal critique contributions and revised sculptures.
