Course Description
Student teaching in a school under supervision of a faculty member and in collaboration with a certified TESOL or world language teacher.
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students:
Graduate students will teach full time for a minimum of 6-8
weeks during this course (this goes beyond the 4 weeks required
for undergraduate students).

Course Objectives
Teacher candidates will be able to: *work under the supervision of a university supervisor and a cooperating teacher in a school setting full time for fourteen (14) weeks *utilize a variety of methods for TESOL and/or world language (WL) teaching and assessment of learning *create and maintain a classroom climate conducive to learning *create optimal learning for students from diverse backgrounds
