Continues focus on the military as a profession, officership,
military justice, civilian control of the military, preparation
for active duty, and current issues affecting military
professionalism. Continued emphasis is given to refining
communication skills.

Student Learning Outcomes
- Challenges students to evaluate complex leadership scenarios, assess operational variables, and apply critical reasoning to make sound, evidence-based decisions in a simulated command environment.
- Students solve complex leadership and operational problems through case studies, simulated missions, and peer collaboration, where they develop original solutions and give and receive feedback to refine their ideas and approaches.
- Students engage in giving and receiving constructive peer feedback to refine their ideas. Evaluating each other’s strategies, communication styles, and decision-making processes. Which strengthens their ability to adapt, improve innovative approaches, and function effectively in diverse team-based environments.
- Students are placed in leadership roles within team-based exercises and simulated operations, where they must coordinate group efforts, delegate tasks, manage conflict, and motivate peers to accomplish shared goals in a dynamic and mission-oriented environment.
