Course Objectives
To increase undergraduate participation in independent research and projects in the natural sciences. To increase participation in Directed Research Projects and to increase the number of students completing senior projects or theses.
Topical Outline
Seminars on opportunities for undergraduate research, various formats for projects, how to narrow a topic and find a faculty supervisor, student reports on progress in selecting topics, resources, and advisors.
