Student learning Outcomes
Students will examine the patterns and trends of the organization, control and administration of higher education.
Students will investigate issues and problems concerning governing and coordinating boards and other direct and indirect controls of higher education.
Students will develop insight into basic principles and theories of policy making, decision making, and management of higher education.
Students will acquire knowledge about significant issues and problems confronting administrators in higher education.
Students will identify basic concepts of organization, including similarities and dissimilarities of higher education with (a) for-profit organizations and (b) elementary and secondary schools.
Students will review and evaluate the literature and research studies related to the organization and governance of higher education.
