Topical Outline
- This course is designed to enable students to critically examine and evaluate current issues in higher education. Course content will vary semester to semester as both the most pressing issues facing higher education and students’ specific interests change over time. Examples of such topics to be considered include but are not limited to: public opinion and questions over the value of higher education, enrollment challenges amid population shifts, contestation over the roles and rights of various stakeholders, and financial uncertainty.
