Course Objectives
Oceanic circulaion in terms of wind and density (thermohaline) driven flows. Elementary dynamical principals including physical properties of the world's oceans, geostrophy and vorticity. Wind generated, internal, Kelvin and Rossby waves. Tidal forces and tide generating forces. Coastal physical processes including esturaine circulation.
