  • By the successful completion of this course, students will be able to describe current certification, licensure, credentialing, and accreditation requirements for audiologists and speech-language pathologists.
  • By the successful completion of this course, students will be able to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate professional requirements and expectations for audiologists and speech-language pathologists, including the scope of practice documents, codes of clinical ethics, interprofessional practice requirements, and others.
  • By the successful completion of this course, students will be able to describe typical structures for the design and conduct of screening, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment programs in audiology and speech-language pathology.
  • By the successful completion of this course, students will be able to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate the influence on speech-language pathology and audiology practice of principles from teaching and learning, measurement, counseling, healthcare finance, and other domains.
