At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to define basic concepts of aural/audiologic rehabilitation and describe relevant historical and cultural contexts.
At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to discuss impact of hearing loss on speech/language development, academic or vocational pursuits, and psychosocial health.
At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to describe types of assistive technology including hearing aids and cochlear implants as well as fundamentals for evidence-based intervention.
