Course Objectives
The course will enable students to: 1) understand the issues around human resource development theory and practice related to gender and race in the workplace, including thinking strategically about these issues; 2) develop, facilitate, and critique diversity training programs, as well as evaluate diversity initiatives; 3) understand and develop ways to proactively respond to the ethical concerns and challenges that arise in diverse global and multinational organizations; 4) understand the principles related to globalization and diversity with particular emphasis on HROD implications.
