Course Objectives
The course will enable students to: 1) to develop an understanding of the adult learner and the adult learning process including an awareness of how social, institutional, and other contextual factors affect adult learning; 2) to develop knowledge and understanding about the individual characteristics, cognitive abilities, motivational and participation patterns, and development dimensions of adult learning; 3) to develop an ability to consider and critique the research and literature of adult learning theories.
