Course Objectives
4900 is a specialized topic course tailored to a specific topic not offered through normal coursework. The topic of a 4900 is generally reflective of a faculty member's area of specialty. Although the topics and content of a 4900 are variable, all students are expected to familiarize themselves with the communication theories that are of focus in the course and generate effective scholarly writing on theoretical topics using secondary scholarly research from the field.
