Course Objectives

To gain experience in the programming process of seeking out and defining the values of the user, the client, and society and their interrelationships through the design of one or more office design projects. To understand space planning for multi-space design programs. To build skills in preliminary design methodologies by initiating project goals and design concepts and producing design schematics. To produce design documents. To produce construction documentation. To build skills in visual and verbal presentation of proposed design solutions. To demonstrate skills in space programming and office design by the successful completion of an appropriate office design project.
