Course Description
Parasitism and host-parasite interactions from cell biological, immunological, biochemical and molecular biological perspectives. Major protozoan and helminth parasites of humans, and unique aspects of immunity to parasites and parasite cellular biochemistry and molecular genetics. The control of parasites via vaccine development and chemotherapy.
