Topical Outline
Illustration is not rendering, making facsimiles of people or objects. Illustration should help you learn to express your individual point of view with a variety of media. Illustrators, like writers, musicians, or dancers, interpret. To do that, your tools need to be an expressive extension of your mind, eyes, and hand. Mastering your craft is a necessary step towards achieving artistry.
