Non-Traditional Format

Intern site supervision with faculty feedback and evaluation. Student is immersed in organization setting, applying classroom knowledge to workplace situations. Student reflects in written form upon relevance and value of experience for professional goals. Internships must be for a minimum of 107 hours of employment for one hour of credit, 214 hours of employment for two hours of credit, and 320 hours of employment for three hours of credit.

(EMST 3110 or EMST 3110H) and EMST 3150

S/U (Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory)

  • Work assignments will vary with the employer, but student is expected to keep a week-by-week account of what he/she did and an assessment of the value of the experience to his/her career aspirations.
