Course Description

Exploration of the dynamics of leading in the complex situations of current military operations. Cadets examine differences in customs and courtesies, military law, principles of war, and rules of engagement in the face of international terrorism. Aspects of interacting with non-government organizations, civilians on the battlefield, and host nation support are examined and evaluated.

Student Learning Outcomes

  • Students will demonstrate proficiency in creating and sustaining an organizational climate of trust in which all individuals are treated with dignity and respect.

  • Students will have familiarization and growing proficiency with how to plan, prepare, execute, and continuously assess the conduct of training at the company or field grade officer level. Including overseeing lower class-men lesson facilitation during labs.
