Course Description
Pre-professional clinical experiences in agricultural education teaching and related careers. Students will conduct observations in public schools and prepare for student teaching experience.
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students:
Graduate students will be expected to take a lead role in class discussions and activities; a research paper on literature about leadership development will also be required.

Course Objectives
1. Participate in clinical teaching experiences in agriculture. 2. Participate in leadership activities related to school-based agricultural education courses at middle and high schools. 3. Participate with the Georgia FFA Association to gain experience in Career Development Events. 4. Observe expert teachers in practice. 5. Identify student needs, learning styles, and successful methods of instruction. 6. Reflect upon observations and analyze classroom management techniques. 7. Introduce students to the Foliotek portfolio system. 8. Introduce students to EdTPA and teacher certification requirements in Georgia.
