Course Objectives
•Develop an understanding of diverse children’s experiences with learning in a Pre-K-5th classroom context •Learn classroom observation and interview skills for exploring classrooms as learning communities •Participate as an active member of a Pre-K-5th classroom community, assisting the teacher and supporting children’s learning •Develop communication, planning, and teaching skills through collaborating with a peer to co-design and co-teach a mini-inquiry project with a group of children •Observe across grade levels in Pre-K-5th grade classrooms
