This course is for students preparing to undertake their comprehensive examinations. Taken individually as an independent study with the student's major professor.

Course Objectives

Students will register for this course while working on their comprehensive examination materials and in the semester they will be conducting their comprehensive examination.


Topical Outline

Specific topics will vary among students according to their research interests. All students, however, will analyze, synthesize, and organize social work and related scholarly literature associated with preparation for the comprehensive exam in the following areas: - Theory - Practice, and - Research methodology.
