Course Description
Basic concepts and measurement issues of family demography, including migration, income, marriage, and divorce; implications of family structural characteristics for public policies.
Additional Requirements for Graduate Students:
Graduate students will be required to read more extensively and
to demonstrate their ability to integrate, synthesize, and apply
course concepts through completion of a research project on the
demographics of a selected population.
