Course Objectives

Students will: Have an appreciation for the interrelationships between choices of research design, measurement methods and techniques,and data analysis in research on housing and consumer economics. Demonstrate competence in applying concepts in research methods on a topic of their choice in housing and consumer economics. Be able to prepare and critically evaluate research proposals on topics in housing and consumer economics that use a variety of research designs, data collection techniques, and data anlayses methods.
